Electrical Design Engineer

In this position, you will develop the electrical design of our special-purpose machines from initial planning through to implementation. You will create circuit diagrams, select suitable components, and support our projects through to commissioning and customer acceptance.

You will work hands-on with customized automation solutions and ensure through your structured approach that our systems are implemented reliably, safely, and on schedule. You will maintain close collaboration with mechanical, software, and project management teams and actively contribute your ideas to the advancement of our solutions.

Your profile:

  • Completed training as an electrician, mechatronics technician, or technician/engineer in electrical engineering
  • Practical experience in electrical design or plant/special-purpose machine construction
  • Knowledge of automation and control technology
  • Experience with EPLAN P8 and/or Promise E is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new systems and technologies
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and willingness to contribute actively

Your tasks:

  • Creation and maintenance of electrical circuit diagrams and documentation
  • Electrical design engineering for special-purpose machines and automation projects
  • Selection and sizing of electrical components (sensors, actuators, drives, etc.)
  • Support during electrical assembly, verification of wiring, and support during commissioning
  • Participation in FAT/SAT, including testing and documentation
  • Coordination with mechanical, software, and project management teams
