You will work closely with Design Engineering, Software, and Project Management and make a significant contribution to continuously improving our inspection and automation solutions.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed vocational training in electronics (e.g., automation technology, industrial engineering, or devices and systems), ideally with further training as a state-certified technician or master craftsman, or a successfully completed degree (Bachelor’s) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or a comparable technical field.
  • Hands-on mindset and enjoyment of analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • High willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
  • Good understanding of the interaction between mechanics, electronics, and software
  • Experience in machine vision, camera technology, or sensor technology is an advantage, but not required
  • Independent working style, ability to work in a team, and technical understanding

Your tasks:

  • Assembly, wiring, and commissioning of camera systems, 3D sensors, and lighting solutions
  • Testing and optimizing image capture by selecting suitable components (optics, camera, lighting)
  • Configuration, calibration, and fine-tuning of existing machine vision software
  • Integration of hardware (industrial PCs, sensors, I/O) into the machine control system
  • Modernization and retrofit of existing systems
  • Onboarding in new technologies and evaluation of new hardware and software solutions
