Mechanical Designer (M/F/D)

In this role, you will play a key part in developing our custom special-purpose machines. You will design assemblies and complete systems to meet individual customer requirements and support the entire process from the initial idea through to commissioning.

You will work hands-on, contributing your technical expertise and creativity to the development of innovative solutions. In close collaboration with assembly, electrical design and project management, you will ensure that our systems are implemented in a functional, efficient and on-time manner.

Your profile:

  • Technical drafter, technician, engineer or comparable qualification, ideally with professional experience
  • Ideally, > 5 years of professional experience in special-purpose machine engineering or design is preferred.

  • Sound knowledge of CAD design (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor or Solid Edge)
  • Strong technical understanding as well as a structured, independent way of working
  • Creativity in solution development and in the design and dimensioning of machines and assemblies
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities

Your tasks:

  • Design of assemblies and complete special-purpose machines
  • Creation and maintenance of CAD models, drawings and bills of materials
  • Technical design and detailing of machine components
  • Coordination with electrical design, assembly and project management
  • Support during assembly and accompaniment of commissioning
  • Contributing to the further development and optimisation of existing machine concepts
