PLC Programming Beckhoff (TwinCAT) (m/f/d)

In this position, you will develop the control software for our special-purpose machines from the initial concept phase through to commissioning at the customer’s site. You will program PLC controllers, create visualizations, and work with the team to successfully get our systems up and running.

You will work hands-on on customized automation solutions and, with your structured way of working, ensure that our systems are implemented reliably, safely, and on schedule. In doing so, you will be in close coordination with electrical design, mechanical engineering, and project management, and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our solutions.

Your profile:

  • Completed training as an electronics technician or mechatronics technician, or further training as a technician/engineer in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable
  • Practical experience in PLC programming in machine or plant engineering
  • Very good knowledge of Beckhoff (TwinCAT)
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens (TIA Portal) and/or Allen-Bradley is an advantage
  • Experience in creating HMI/visualizations
  • Experience in commissioning machines and systems
  • Structured, independent way of working as well as ability to work in a team

Your tasks:

  • Development, programming, and optimization of PLC programs for special-purpose machines
  • Creation and adaptation of HMI visualizations
  • Commissioning of machines in-house and on-site at the customer’s premises
  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting as well as optimization of existing control systems
  • Close collaboration with electrical design, mechanical engineering, and project management
  • Documentation of the software and functional sequences
