Purchasing and Order Management (m/f/d)

In this position, you will take on a central role in the procurement and order processing of our special-purpose machinery projects. You will coordinate ordering processes, keep an eye on delivery dates, and ensure that all required components are in the right place at the right time.

You will work closely with design, project management, and assembly, contributing significantly to the efficient and timely implementation of our customized automation solutions. Through your structured way of working and your understanding of technical contexts, you will ensure the smooth execution of our projects.

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., industrial clerk, technical merchant, or similar)

  • Experience in purchasing, order management, or scheduling – ideally in special-purpose machinery manufacturing or a technical environment

  • Good technical understanding and interest in technical products

  • Structured, diligent, and independent way of working

  • Communication talent and ability to work in a team

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office

  • Good written and spoken German skills

Your tasks:

  • Handling the procurement of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components

  • Obtaining and comparing quotes as well as selecting suitable suppliers

  • Initiating and tracking orders, including deadline monitoring

  • Coordination with design, project management, and assembly regarding material requirements

  • Maintenance of supplier and item master data in the ERP system

  • Support in optimizing procurement processes

  • Ensuring timely material availability for ongoing projects
