Robotics in practice: Keynote speech by ID at specialist workshop in Euskirchen

For companies in the Euskirchen district that are struggling with staff shortages or want to increase their production sustainably, the Ideenfabrik Euskirchen, in cooperation with AGIT, is offering a series of workshops that will highlight potential solutions for skilled worker shortages and production growth. ID gave a keynote speech at the kick-off event on June 2.

Robotics and modern automation solutions offer enormous opportunities to counter the shortage of skilled workers and efficiently scale production in companies.

ID Managing Director Tobias Butscheid gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Robot solutions in practice – increasing reliability and productivity” and informed the participants of the kick-off workshop how automation can be specifically implemented in industry, which technologies are already available today and what is important for a successful automation project.

The company CeiliX Technology, also from Euskirchen, also presented practical examples and application scenarios from robotics. In an exchange with representatives from the WZL-IQS chair of RWTH Aachen, who are concerned with ecological resource consumption in terms of climate neutrality, the participants learned more about AI-supported programming and current trends from research.

The business development agency for the Aachen technology region and the Düren and Euskirchen districts (AGIT) has launched this workshop series together with the Ideenfabrik Nachhaltige Wirtschaft, which is operated by the Euskirchen district’s business development agency.
