ID Ingenieure & Dienstleistungen GmbH, based in Euskirchen, develops modern machines and systems for customers in the region, throughout Germany and beyond. Medium-sized companies and mechanical engineering firms, major international groups from the consumer goods industry and manufacturers of machinery for the processing industry have been relying on ID for many years. In 1996, graduate engineer Michael Gottschalk founded ID Ingenieure & Dienstleistungen, initially as a sole proprietorship, before it was converted into a limited company in 1998.
Since then, the number of orders, customers and employees has grown continuously and at a healthy economic rate. The company's creditworthiness is regularly checked and confirmed annually with the recognised CrefoZert seal of approval.
Since July 2023, founder and Managing Director Michael Gottschalk has been supported by M.Eng. Tobias Butscheid as a member of the management team.He has been with the company since 2015, is also responsible for Technical Sales and in this role contributes his expertise as a Master of Technical Management to ID Engineering. The two are linked by a trusting working relationship and mutual professional and personal appreciation. Previously, graduate engineer Christoph Werner had managed the fortunes of the company alongside Michael Gottschalk for 10 years. After more than 22 years at ID, he found a new challenge at Nordeifel-Werkstätten. He remains on friendly terms with the ID management team.
Since summer 2016, ID's newly built headquarters with its own assembly hall has been located a few kilometres north of Euskirchen in the Industrial park am Silberberg (IPAS). Around 45 permanent employees and trainees work there and in the offices on Schneppenheimer Weg, including graduate engineers, technicians, project managers, technical purchasers and technical product designers.
