At ID Engineering, we believe in a culture of transparency, integrity, and responsible conduct. As part of our commitment to ethics and compliance, we have introduced the whistleblower system. This system provides a trustworthy platform to anonymously report concerns, suggestions, or information regarding potential violations of our company policies or legal regulations, enabling us to prevent them.
The whistleblower system allows affected parties to report specific and substantiated violations of company policy without fear of disadvantage or breaches of confidentiality. We want to ensure that potential problems are identified and resolved early to maintain the integrity of our company while fostering an environment where everyone can perform at their best.
We assure that in the case of anonymous reports, we will not take any measures to identify the reporting persons and guarantee confidential, swift, and fair execution of investigations for all reports. Our highest priority is the protection of reporting persons, employees, and affected parties. For affected parties, the presumption of innocence applies until a violation can be proven.

How Your Report is Processed!
When a report is received via the whistleblower system – whether by email, online form, or postal mail – it is immediately processed by a qualified investigation team. This investigation team specializes in responsibly handling confidential information and systematically and fairly investigating reports. It can be helpful for the responsible investigation team if the reporting persons are contactable (e.g., via an anonymous email) to clarify questions that are useful for the investigations.
Upon submission of a report, the reporting persons first receive an acknowledgment of receipt. Subsequently, the report is carefully reviewed and evaluated to determine what steps need to be taken. If the evaluation reveals an initial suspicion of a violation or misconduct, a comprehensive investigation is initiated. During this investigation, the utmost importance is always placed on the confidentiality of the reporting persons. If the investigation reveals misconduct, the investigation team will impose appropriate consequences.

Reporting persons have various channels available to report potential grievances and violations of our codes of conduct related to our company and our suppliers.
Reporting persons also have the right to submit their report to a neutral external authority.
