Machine Vision Engineer

We’re continuing to grow and are looking to strengthen our teams at our Duisburg-Neudorf and Euskirchen locations. One Machine Vision Engineer (m/f/d) position is available at each location.

As a Machine Vision Engineer, you will develop and optimize industrial image processing systems, successfully bringing together camera technology, sensor technology, and software. You will support projects from conception to commissioning, implement modern vision and AI solutions, and work closely with the software, design, and robotics departments to realize innovative inspection and automation solutions.

Your profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar

  • Technician training also welcome

  • Degree in hand or nearing completion

  • Good understanding of the interaction between mechanics, electronics, and software

  • Experience in machine vision, camera technology, or sensor technology is an advantage, but not required

  • Independent working style, ability to work in a team, and technical understanding

Your tasks:

  • Develop and optimize lighting concepts
  • Design and integrate optics and sensor technology
  • Understand, configure, and optimize camera systems
  • Develop and apply image processing algorithms
  • Utilize deep learning models for image processing tasks
  • Analyze and evaluate image data
  • Develop software solutions in C++, C#, or Python
  • Integrate robotics applications into image processing systems
  • Support and coordinate PLC programming
