In October and November, ID once again grew its team in Mechanical Design, Image Processing, Concept Development, and Sales. Learn more in our introductory round.
Florian Müller – Mechanical Designer
The 27-year-old designer is responsible for concept creation and detailed design of systems for various industries in the Mechanical Design department. A trained cutting machine operator, he brings over three years of professional experience from his previous position at Vulcan Technic GmbH. There, he was also responsible for the design of pneumatic circuit diagrams and the safety-compliant design of robot cells.
At ID, he is currently working on the new “Cleaning Technology” product field and benefits from his experience in this area from his previous employment. Specifically, he is importing CAD data into internal structures to build a lean “modular system” from which customer inquiries for cleaning devices can be served in the future. Initial inquiries for which he is creating concepts already exist. Additionally, he is currently completing his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in cooperation with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and will soon start his final thesis at ID.
Maurice Möst – Working Student in Image Processing
Maurice Möst supports ID in the Industrial Image Processing department as a working student 2.5 days per week and is expected to work at ID until the end of his bachelor’s degree in Media Technology at TH Köln. He will decide later whether he wants to use his acquired skills as an engineer in the field of image processing after completing his bachelor’s degree. He is currently gaining experience for exactly that reason. To balance things out, he enjoys outdoor sports in his spare time, whether climbing, running, cycling, or surfing.
Horst Schneider – Product Manager in Sales
Since November, he has been handling the sales of the new ID product division: Cleaning Technology. The trained mechanical engineer (FH) brings his expertise from his previous employer Vulcan Technic GmbH, where he already supported the marketing of cleaning technology on a technical level and carried out project controlling. He was also a key user for the ERP system and responsible for machine safety. In his new position at ID, he has already initiated initial discussions with potential customers.
The volunteer firefighter is a truck driving instructor for his fellow firefighters. His affinity for heavy metal is also reflected musically. He plays the tuba in various clubs and prefers symphonic wind music in the Eifelphilharmonie.
Rainer Kramm – many years of service for ID and Schoeller (no photo)
The 61-year-old has had many assignments for ID and the Schoeller plant over the last 13 years. The “old hand” has been active in special machine construction for over 25 years, including over 10 years as a design and project manager in various positions. He has been permanently employed at ID since October because he sees a lot of potential in the current constellation. Therefore, he primarily supports the new CTO Michael Mießen in concept development and quotation preparation in the field of automation. When he is not working, he enjoys being on the road with his motorhome.
Everyone agrees on one thing
From working students to “old hands,” all new additions appreciate the open and collegial atmosphere at ID as well as the focused way of working. The strategic orientation with a modern and visionary view also meets with a positive response. And with the new Cleaning Technology product division and the newly acquired robot for the internal robot test cell, opportunities and possibilities are arising for ID to assert itself even more strongly in the market. Everyone wants to help shape this path.
