Forward-looking inline quality control for resource-efficient production
As part of the EFRE.NRW funding programme, our company is participating in the forward-looking joint project “AI-CyberVision”. The project is making a significant contribution to advancing digital transformation and sustainability in industrial manufacturing (using the automotive supplier industry as an example).
- Project title: AI-CyberVision – Modular system architecture for networked, crisis-resilient production processes
- Project background & objectives: The aim of the project is to develop an intelligent reference architecture for modern manufacturing systems. By fusing camera-based robotics, high-precision 3D image processing and deep-learning algorithms, we implement seamless real-time inline quality control. This minimises scrap directly in the process and makes a measurable contribution to energy and resource efficiency on the path to sustainable zero-waste production. The system is complemented by integrated cybersecurity management that reliably protects networked IoT infrastructures against digital threats.
- Expected results: A deployment-ready, crisis-resilient and modular overall system for automated component measurement and inspection that meets the highest IT security standards and strengthens economic competitiveness as well as technological resilience
Funding notice: This research and development project is financially supported by the European Union and the State of North Rhine-Westphalia under the EFRE.NRW 2021–2027 programme (Investments in Growth and Employment).

We don’t have customers, we have partners
I was particularly impressed by the fact that the competent and motivated staff always responded to interim changes to the plan in a friendly, quick, and flexible manner, and that our requested changes were implemented at no additional cost
ID has excellent, motivated, and friendly specialists in manufacturing process automation who know exactly what they're doing. From conception to production, all the experts are in-house, which made working with us much easier.
We supply high-quality components for industrial image processing, which ID uses in special-purpose machine construction. In addition, ID conducts professional training courses for our software at customers' sites, which significantly contributes to the efficient use of the components in automation.
