New additions at ID: Programmers for robots and PLCs plus trainee

Three new faces in the ID team: Since the beginning of September, two programmers and a trainee have been strengthening the Euskirchen-based engineering company. We introduce them.

Things are going really well for ID in terms of personnel. CTO Michael Mießen was followed by two former colleagues to ID, and they are now demonstrating their skills in Marc Barth’s Automation department.

Moritz Hedrich

Robot programmer, 27 years
The trained electrician for industrial engineering has furthered his education to become a state-certified electrical engineer, trainer and technical business administrator before working as a programmer for industrial robots at Vulkan Technik GmbH. Already in his first days at ID, he noticed the well-structured departments. The onboarding went perfectly and within a few days he had everything he needed to work. In his spare time, he takes to the skies in his paragliding training and looks at the Eifel from above.

Fabian Wassong

PLC programmer, 29 years
He also followed his former department head Michael Mießen and is looking forward to his new tasks as a PLC programmer. Previously, the studied computer scientist was also employed at Vulkan Technik, first in electrical assembly and later in programming for machine control and special solutions in automation. He is now using this knowledge and his professional experience at ID. Even at home, he continues to tinker and program. To compensate, he plays music in a cover band and in the local music club.

Louis Ziemons

Trainee as a Technical Product Designer, 24 years
The youngest new addition started on September 1st with his training as a Technical Product Designer specializing in machine and plant construction. Before that, he studied automotive engineering at TH Köln and came into contact with the basics of CAD design there. He quickly realized that he would rather continue his interest in an apprenticeship and applied for a position in a conversation with trainer René Dederichs and plant construction manager Dennis Schmitz at ID. After only a few days, the recreational kicker is pleased with the well-organized induction and the new tasks.

Speaking of being happy: Forget “All beginnings are difficult”. Independently of each other, all three new employees emphasize after only a few days how sympathetically and collegially they are received, integrated and supported by everyone at ID.
