By taking over Vulkan Technic’s adhesive technology division, ID was also able to recruit Andreas Thiex, the former head of adhesive technology in battery automation, as a new employee. Since June, he has been responsible for the development and sales of adhesive technology at ID and is already deeply involved in acquisition.

After completing his training as an industrial mechanic and further education as a mechanical engineering technician, Thiex, a 50-year-old family man, worked for many years in seat development for the automotive industry before specializing in adhesive technology.

Thanks to Thiex’s extensive expertise, ID is now expanding its offerings with another application, completing the cycle from cleaning technology to adhesive technology and industrial image processing.
